TROX USA’s enhanced chilled beam selection software now features more chilled beam models, an enhanced tutorial and innovative Selection Wizard, making chilled beam selections faster, easier and more accurate for design engineers and architects.

The new Selection Wizard is an automated selection tool, which allows users to enter the desired output or room loads first and the software calculates a possible solution. Conversely, the engineers or architect can adjust the number of beams for a particular space to suit its architectural requirements and the selection program will recalculate the size beam(s) needed to achieve the desired output. The software is designed to provide a solution that meets the requirements with the least number or shortest beams possible.

Start with the TROX Selection Wizard when laying out your next project. For engineers and architects new to chilled beam system selection and budgeting, the Need Help? button directs you to a brief tutorial on the program’s functions and provides tips for making accurate selections.

Finally, two new chilled beam models, the DID-E and DID-V, have been added to the selection software, providing additional options for designers. Please contact Hydronic Systems, Inc at OKC 405.528.7867, Tulsa 918.382.6978 or  Arkansas 479.310.5404 with questions.
