Rick has been with Hydronic Systems since 2012 but has been well acquainted with the Boozer family and the company for nearly 15 years. The relationship began when Rick worked for Allen Consulting and was a client of Hydronic Systems.

As a sales engineer, Rick is responsible for providing sales support to engineers and contractors and keeping them informed about the products Hydronic Systems represents. He provides support from the time the equipment is ordered until it is up and running. He also works with facility management teams to find system strategies that provide the best solutions for their buildings. Rick’s expertise is on the air side which compliments the expertise of Mark Boozer, his Oklahoma City sales partner, on the hydronic side. He also has expertise in the areas of mechanical, plumbing and hydronic systems.

After spending his entire career designing or selling HVAC systems and equipment, Rick has a number of favorite projects. One of the most recent is Freedom Elementary School located in Lawton, Oklahoma on the Ft. Sill Army Base. While still working at Allen Consulting, Rick started the design on the school and then later was able to sell the HVAC equipment to the contractor, allowing him to see the project through completion. You might say he has a passion for schools. Another favorite is the John Rex Elementary School in downtown Oklahoma City. For him, it is exciting to have been part of the downtown resurgence and the building of the school that will undoubtedly become a landmark. Other more notable projects Rick has worked on include Norman Regional Hospital, the Chickasaw Nation Visitors Center and the Sam Noble Museum on the OU campus.

Rick studied engineering at the University of Oklahoma and has 34 years of experience in the industry.

Between Rick and his wife, Julie, they have four grown daughters, Kristin, Melissa, Lauren and Claire and three and 1/2 grandchildren. He enjoys playing golf, boating, fishing and spending time with his family. Rick also is an Oklahoma City Thunder basketball fan.
